Perhaps the most deceptive philosophy of the modern age is that of evolution because it fools people into believing that there is no Creator God of the universe. If people take the time to honestly investigate the facts with no presuppositions, they will realize that science, archaeology, anthropology, and just plain common sense demand the existence of an all powerful designer of this universe. The truths and fulfilled prophecies of the Holy Bible dovetail perfectly with these facts.
The Bible starts with “In the Beginning, God Created the heavens and the earth.” The God of the Bible is a triune God. He is not three Gods but has revealed Himself to mankind in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Apostle John begins his Gospel with “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word …was God…All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made[1].” Later John says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”[2] Clearly the Word is referring to Jesus Christ, “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God…but was made in the likeness of men”[3] In Colossians we read that Jesus Christ “is the image of the invisible God…for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”[4] Jesus Christ is God and is clearly our Creator.
For people to claim Jesus Christ as Savior but to deny Creation is inconsistent. To deny Creation is to deny a Creator; to deny a Creator is to deny Jesus Christ; to deny Jesus Christ is to be denied by God the Father in heaven[5]. Let us be consistent Christians and glorify Jesus Christ as both Creator and Savior.
